Anyhow, Saturday was the VA Comic Con down in Richmond. The bosses and I had a table there. We had to get up butt-crack early to get there in time. We had a good place in the tiny expo hall. We did very well and, bonus, we were able to get a lot of exposure. We were interviewed by a Vlogger and that should be up on the internet soon. Which brings me to a rant.
I understand that it can be difficult driving to a conference, but if you are told you need to be at the expo hall at a certain time for set up, you need to make sure you are there. You need to make sure you give your self ample time to arrive. There were people who causally strolled in a couple of hours late. I just find that really rude and unprofessional and makes me NOT want to give you my business. I don't get it. Rude people are rude.
That being said, I was met with some sad news last night. Wes Craven has passed away. That man has been scaring me since I was little. I used to watch Freddy movies with my cousins when I was 5. I liked his stories. He will be missed.
The next few weeks are crazy busy. Once it is all said and done, hopefully I'll be able to catch my breath in time for NaNo.
